1. Hota Gallery
The redesigned Hota Gallery has a combination of free exhibits and sometimes ticketed installations. With a quirky vibe, and a collection that is eclectic, it is a wonderful few hours to wander and admire. Once you have filled your eyes with artwork, you can fill your tummy with some scrumptious food and a beverage on the rooftop bar while gazing across the coast.

2. Swell Sculpture Festival
Held annually, the Swell Festival is located along Currumbin Beach. Walk along the seaside stopping at the thought provoking and often quite wonderful creations of artists. It is a great day out for families with little ones delighting in the imagination and colours the sculptures use to convey meaning and messages.

3. The Doyles Art Award
Held annually during the winter school holidays, The Doyles exhibits over 300 artworks in the historic Memorial Hall in Mudgeeraba. This art exhibition has lots of variety and features mostly representational art, all of which is for sale. The quaint township is also a great place to stop for a coffee or a pint at the sprinkling of establishments in its realm.

4. One Arts Gold Coast
The One Arts gallery is a non profit gallery and is located on Isle of Capri. It has regular exhibitions from local artists and is a fantastic way to support local talent.

5. RQAS Broadbeach
The RQAS gallery can be found at the end of the esplanade in Broadbeach. It has changing exhibitions featuring art from members of the RQAS. Every month a new theme is exhibited. They also have a fun market style set up on weekends with artists selling their work.
