A $30,000 ANNUAL NATIONAL AQUISITIVE PRIZE is to be awarded to the artist of the single winning entry for a painting inspired by the Australian Landscape.
HONOURABLE MENTION AWARD – $3,000 sponsored by Chris Antico (Artist/ Paddington Art Prize Co-Sponsor) HIGHLY COMMENDED AWARD - $1,000 sponsored by Julia Martin (Artist/Curator) ART LEVEN GALLERY AWARD -Director Mirri Leven will select ONE artist from the list of finalists with different, yet complimentary approaches to landscape painting and offer the opportunity for a solo exhibition at Mirri Leven's Redfern gallery in 2026/27. The artist will also receive $2,500 each toward the creation of the exhibition. ANTHEA POLSON GALLERY AWARD -Director Anthea Polson will give a solo exhibition at the Anthea Polson Gallery, Gold Coast, Queensland in 2025/2026 for ONE unrepresented artist who is selected as finalists in The Paddington Art Prize 2025. 2. Additional NON-ACQUISITIVE AWARDS continued: JAMES MAKIN GALLERY AWARD - - - - - - Director James Makin will give a solo exhibition at the James Makin Gallery, Melbourne, Victoria in either 2026 or 2027 for an artist that is not represented in the state of Victoria and contractually able to exhibit outside their represented galleries (should they have one), selected from the Finalists in the Paddington Art Prize 2025 BECKER MINTY GALLERY AWARD Director Jason Minty will give a 2026 solo exhibition at Becker Minty, Hobart for a Finalist that is not represented in the state of Tasmania and who is contractually able to exhibit outside their represented galleries (should they have one). ERAMBOO RESIDENCY/GALLERY AWARD A 2026 two-week live-in residency at Eramboo Artist Environment, North Sydney for a selected Finalist, followed by the opportunity to hold a ten-day selfmanaged 2026/2027 exhibition of their residency art works at Eramboo Gallery. Additionally, $500 cash will be given towards exhibition expenses: sponsored by Chris Antico. RATHENART PRINTING AWARD A $1000 Rathenart Printing/Scanning Voucher for a 2025 Finalist sponsored by Rebecca Anne Brady AL STRETCHERS AWARD $2000 Worth of Aluminium Stretchers Sponsored by Alesandro Ljubicic PEOPLE’S CHOICE AWARD $1,000 gift certificate toward Giclee Print of their winning painting from Theresa Sarjeant of Fine Art Imaging for the Finalist with the most votes from the Exhibition of National Finalists visitors at Art Leven Gallery. Announced on the last Saturday of the exhibition.
