Mist Gallery was opened in September 2020 on the far north Tweed coast of NSW at Cabarita Beach. It is owned and run by Helen Otway, an artist herself who started her career as an art teacher in a primary school.
Helen, along with her husband, are keen art collectors and regularly attend art galleries and exhibitions, auctions and fundraisers. They are both supporters of the Tweed Regional Gallery and the Margaret Olley Centre, and have recently become Foundation Members.
Mist Gallery contributes to the art culture of the Tweed Region by exhibiting many talented local and invited artists, as well as creating an engaging and interactive art scene through its artist talks and workshops.
Our regularly curated exhibitions are dynamic and ever evolving, ensuring that both viewer and artist feel that they are part of an exciting art space. With regular and varied exhibitions, it is hoped that people are able to find the right piece not just for their home, but also one that speaks to them and nourishes the soul.
